i’m a blogger for The Cut, covering all things news and pop culture. previously, i was a senior reporter at BuzzFeed News, where I spent eight years. i’ve also been a digital breaking news reporter at ABC News, and have also written for Rolling Stone and The Independent.
my reporting spans a variety of topics: court cases, internet ephemera, national news, pop culture, crime — basically anything that gets the group chat popping.
i’m an experienced enterprise reporter with a strong general assignment/breaking news background. i’ve got a passion for uncovering unique stories that make an impact, and telling them with insight, empathy, and clean, engaging copy.
outside of journalism, i’m an amateur birder, co-captain of a skee-ball team, and a reluctant scholar of The Bachelor franchise.
